ripping from love nikki and semi successful, but now how to get to all the sprites?
#1
like the title says. been trying to rip sprites from 'love nikki - dress up queen' for a bit now following this tutorial i found, specifically the decrypt section rather then the ninjaripper section since it seemed faster overall

i was kinda successful? i got the res folder with the clothes images and its .kxt files and used the provided tool to decrypt it to png/jpg, but it was pretty evident that it's nowhere close to all the sprites the game has, and i'm not sure how to proceed to get access to all the sprites

anyone else here have any experience ripping from this game and can give some advice on getting to the rest of the sprites ? or should i just go for the ninjaripper method?

I'm not sure if it's ALL of them but I've ripped from Nikki before SEVERAL times and I actually use THIS version of assetstudio because it has the decryption tool included!!!

I hope that helps!

well, what I do (and this was trial and error)
1. download the shining nikki app on an emulation ( I use mumu player because it's so much easier)
2. log into the game and download the resources
3. through the emulator, go into the files under Android and get the .obb AND the actual folder
3. change the .obb to a zip files, these are mostly updates however there's some random files that aren't in the main games
4. you can load the entire folder into the asset studio and filter what is loaded by 'sprite' and 'texture2d' they'll be mostly the same but texture2d is larger
5. go to export all filtered to wherever you want the files (there's going to be A LOT)

I hope that helps. There's more in depth tutorials on how you get the files - it depends on what emulator you're using
