New and motivated

I've always wanted to know how to use apps like Blender, so I'm really happy I finally found the motivation and the right community to learn. I'm learning animation in university right now, so it'll be cool to get a head start in 3D modelling. I'm very into Splatoon right now, so I'm gunna look into how to get started in putting together my own model  and hopefully animate them in the future.

I'm also pretty new in this field, I'm in the first year of college but I'm not sure I can get there enough knowledge to develop my skills...
