Help ripping some models from Enter the Matrix (Gamecube or PC)
#1
Question
After showing a friend how weird the multiplayer from Enter the Matrix is, we decided it would be a good idea to rip 2 very specific models from the game, however, we don't have any experience ripping models off games, we've been searching inside the files for the pc release of the game, since it seems to be mostly loose files and we found the two files we were looking for (agentcar_man.dcx and Firebird_man.dcx), however, they're in a weird file format that's called .dcx, which seems to be a common file type for FromSoft games, however, programs that the communities for those games have made to rip models in that file format don't seem to work for these files, either because while it's the same file type, something inside is missing, or it's a complete coincidence that the file type is called .dcx, I'm sure these files contain everything inside since I copied them and renamed them to replace the 6 playermodel files for Ghost in the PC version and everything loaded just fine with no errors.

My friend found this wiki related to the .dcx files that Enter The Matrix uses (http://wiki.xentax.com/index.php/Enter_The_Matrix_DCX), Told us to use Game Extractor to open them up but all we seem to get are .tga files (The Agent car file has only .tga files inside, the Firebird one has all .tga files and one file that gets recognized as UNKNOWN), we aren't able to open them in image editing software.

For the GC version, which comes in two discs, both discs have a movies folder and a text folder which seem to be the same (?), an opening.bnr file, and 3 .dfu files on each disc, wad1.dfu and wad1_b.dfu for disc 1, wad2.dfu and wad2_b.dfu for disc 2, wad_adh.dfu is present in both discs, we haven't looked more than that.

If anyone has any idea on how to rip these files properly, please let me know.
