how do i change sprites in syobon action?

hey so i tryed to change the player sprites in the game files but it broke it broke the player character when i tryed to change the syobon into a lemming character from the lemmings game how do i fix it?
oh yeah btw how do i turn the sound on
(im using open syobon action)
