X-Men Legends/Ultimate Alliance Models

Hi all! I wanted to start posting models for X-Men Legends, X-Men Legends II, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Before I do that, though, I wanted to ask a few questions.

First, about the organization. None of these games have anything uploaded for them yet (though X-Men Legends does have some files on sounds resource), so I wanted to see what the right way to start a section would be. Each game has some specific stuff about it, so here are the questions:

X-Men Legends
  • The PS2 version of the game generally has the best quality of textures for the in-game models
  • There is a prototype of the game that includes many models that weren't in the final build of the game, but it's only available for Xbox

X-Men Legends II
  • Again, the PS2 version of the game generally has the best quality of textures for the in-game models
  • The PC version has several extra models (including some that are unused in other versions). The PC version is also the only version that maps and map objects can be extracted from
  • The PSP version of the game has several other character models that aren't present in any other versions

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
  • Of the last-gen console versions, the PS2 again has the best quality of textures for the in-game models
  • The Xbox 360 version of the game has higher poly/quality versions of the models from the last-gen console versions, plus several new models
  • The PSP version of the game has several exclusive models that aren't in other last-gen console versions
  • The PC version (one of the next-gen versions) is the only one where it's possible to extract maps and map objects
  • There is a prototype of the game for the Xbox that features several exclusive models that aren't present in any of the final builds


So, is it acceptable to add the game to multiple different consoles on the site and post the relevant models to the relevant console versions? Should prototypes be considered separate games, or can they be considered the same game as their final released version? 



Now, some questions about the content:

Character models in X-Men Legends and X-Men Legends II feature a cel-shading-like effect on the models that's just a clone of the main model but with the normals inverted, slightly pushed out from the main body, and colored black. Should this be included as part of the submission? If so, is it acceptable to include a version without the cel shading under the don't manually modify the polygon structure unless you include the unedited version and clearly label the edited version as such condition from the submission guidelines? Should the cel shading be visible in the thumbnail?

I'm also unsure about the naming. The models from the games just use numbers for their names, so it's not very descriptive. I'm assuming that it's not acceptable to rename the models, but I just wanted to confirm that that's the case. 

I also wanted to ask about naming the zip files that are downloaded. I've noticed that models tend to use the naming convention of "(Console) - (Game) - (Model Name).zip". Is this something that's set up when the model is uploaded, or can/should I set that up myself?

Additionally, some models are recycled between games. Several models from X-Men Legends are re-used in X-Men Legends II (but with higher texture resolution). Several models from X-Men Legends II are re-used in the last-gen versions of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, but without the cel shading as part of them. Initially, for any repeats, I would most likely only upload 1 version. In the long term, would it be acceptable to upload versions from the different games (since they are technically different), or would that be considered redundant? 



I think that's all the questions I have for right now. Hopefully, this is the correct place to ask them. Any insight is appreciated!
