Trimming dead air off sounds?
#1
Hey guys. I recently had a submission (Killer Instinct on Arcade) get rejected because there was too much dead air at the end of each sound effect, around two or three seconds. Bloated the file sizes.

Is there any program or app I could use to trim this empty space en masse? Or do I really have to go into audacity for every single sound effect? Because idk if I'm prepared to do the latter lol, there are hundreds of sounds.

I may be totally necro-ing this thread, but I thought it important to update the topic for future reference.
I figured out the audio editor GoldWave has a very handy tool for this. It can even do batch processing. It helped me get all the Killer Instinct 1994 sounds shortened. There you go!
