Zelda Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask (Nintendo 64) Resources
#1
Hello all,

This is for those of you who don't like using LemD3D8.dll, or who'd rather use raw resources.
These are extracted files, not ripped. All files (with exception of the textures) were extracted using ZRE and renamed by me. I only renamed the maps.

Orcarina of Time zmap files: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1Jl50...GFNWVJjQW8
Orcarina of Time textures (not mine): https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1Jl50...zZYcmZBNlE

Orcarina of Time zobj files: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1Jl50...lV2aWhuYTg

Majora's Mask zmap files: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1Jl50...1lnM1BrczQ
Majora's Mask zobj files: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1Jl50...3g2UWNvd2c
You can use a N64 emulator to dump the textures

The Blender zmap import script (not mine): https://code.google.com/archive/p/sods-b.../downloads

The Blender zmap import script is having issues importing Majora's Mask maps. I'll do more testing later. I haven't tested the objects.
Version 4 doesn't seem to work for me, but version 3 works. I can't seem to get the textures to work properly upon import, so I added an OoT texture dump archive that should help with reassigning textures. Again, OoT models import fine, but the MM models are missing parts.

You need to make the characters T-Pose by yourself. For importing objects, sometimes you need to add missing textures.
Here's a Youtube video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cETdDmCKIg You can probably assign the texture after import, vice making the zdata file manually

I'll be taking a look at this. (Mostly OOT)

Mostly will be getting the models into .blend format. And naming/T posing them properly.
I like to make models in my free time. I also make weird games, too.

Here's the entire rom dumps for those who'd rather work with the entire filesystems:

Not to necropost but the zmap and zobj extraction links are dead. Can you refresh them or say how you extracted the zmap files?
