Recently, I attempted to upload a .blend file of a model that was already posted (Shadow the Hedgehog from Sonic Generations by JetTheFox96 on this topic), but I had cleaned up the skeleton and materials, and JetTheFox96 sounded happy about me wanting to upload such. In the end, the file got rejected because the file format wasn't recognize, but was this right? I stayed within the same thread as where the model had originally come from if that makes a difference.
