Need help extracting assets from Android app that require internet
#1
There's this app I've been trying to rip without success. The game requires internet connection, so I had assumed the assets are on an online server, but I haven't been able to identify the URLs.
I extracted the APK and the root folders. Based on its contents it looks to be a Unity build, but Asset Studio only managed to extract the basic GUI, not the character artwork/assets and music that I'm looking for.
In the app folder (not root), there's this folder filled with a bunch of files labelled by long strings of numbers. I don't know if these is the content that I'm looking for, since I cannot extract any of the contents of the files with Asset Studio.

Can anyone help me figure out if these files contains URLs to the actual assets, or is an archive of the assets itself?

This is the APK of the app. Not sure if it helps, since extracting data from the apk doesnt' give me what I needed  Cry

Link to APK download

This is what the folder with strange numbered files looks like. I thought this was the databank of the app, but I couldn't identify the files to extract them. Sample of one of the file in the folder i linked in the first post

I tried downloading the mysterious files one and it just shows up as "file".
From my experience ripping, you'll want to try finding the folders that say "Level [number]" as they contain the assets to extract in asset studio.

I've also experienced this with apps such as Vice City 10th Anniversary. I couldn't find the assets and the one's i've extracted were just Unity branding.

So, uh, I hope it's fine to revive this old post since I hadn't a chance to try anything new

Anyway. This is what the data inside the game folder looks like. The mystery "file" with no extension is in the folder with a bunch of garbage numbers.
Inside it is more folders with more random numbers. I ran these through ASset Studio and got nothing.

Now when I load the game, every now and then they download new assets into the device. I've checked the Root folders, and there's nothing, so I'm assuming these folders with numbers on them ARE the assets. I just have no idea how to extract/convert them.
