Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (Ripping All Levels)
#31
I'm proud you've made the commitment to rip the entirety of the Yoshi's Island levels.

Also, I've checked the list of levels on Golden Egg and apparently, they didn't list the Secret levels (must be why they call it "Secret Levels"), so it looks like these very levels will have to be painstakingly ripped via SNES emulator or vSNES + the Sceneviewer (whichever works better with you).

Excellent job with these rips.

EDIT: Never mind ripping the secret levels with vSNES. I forgot that these secret levels are GBA-exclusive.

Thanks, I'm trying my best.

Also you're right, the secret levels are not on SNES (I totally forgot that).

I deleted them from the list, since I'm not ripping from GBA.

Added everything for World 4 except:
- 4-4 part 1
- 4-7 part 2

These rooms change their tileset just like 3-4, therefore they'll need additional vSNES ripping.

Added 5-6 and 5-7, also another bonus room for 5-1.

Btw, I can't find the actual bonus room for 5-7, since Golden Egg lists an unknown or unused room for it.

This is what it should look like:

Added 5-8, except part 1 (which again has the same problem with the tileset change).

Added 5-5.

The unknown room from before is actually the bonus stage for it. It seems that the Golden Egg dev labeled it incorrectly as bonus for 5-7.

Added 6-6.

The typical world 6 tileset is not seen in the Golden Egg map viewer, unless you press the Yoshi icon (Open Header Editor), go to Option and check "Assume as World 6".

This tileset is only used within 6-1 and 6-6, though.

Added 6-2 and 6-7.

Part 1 of 6-7 has a tileset change at its end, therefore I didn't submit it.

All that is left are castles, some re-rips and the missing stages with tileset change, which need additional vSNES ripping.

Added 6-4 and Extra 6.

6-8 can wait, I'll do the re-rips first (Extra 4 and 6-1).

Woooow. Shocked at how fast you're doing this. I wonder if MrDoubleA is interested in doing more bosses and enemies?
