Wacky Races Model Requests
#1
Last Month, my request for adding the Wii version of Wacky Races: Crash & Dash was rejected. And I was sad because many members on The VG Resource like myself wanted to see models from the game.

The game was not accepted for the following reason:

There were no models associated with that game. Their system does not show a model associated with this game.

This could be because a model was never uploaded or because the model submitted with the game has since been rejected.

Could someone at least post models for any Wacky Races game please? It would really make my day.

Haha I never played the Wii version of Crash & Dash but the DS version was a fun part of my childhood. I might rip some models from that, even though it's not the Wii version you're looking for

Well, you could try that...

And who voted for ripping the Dreamcast models?

Yeah here are two random models I directly ripped from the DS version.  Obviously they're just NDS quality. If you want these low quality boys I'll do more but I get that you're looking for models from better consoles

Thanks, but have you ever ripped any models from the Dreamcast Wacky Races game?

Is the game on Steam (sorry if stupid question)? Cuz I know there's that Ninja program that does it pretty easily from there (I'm no expert on this subject but was able to successfully use that on something else) lol. Also, yeah, noticed no Dick Dastardly models around, so would be cool to see him.

No. It isn’t on Steam.

May Update: So far we only have two models from the DS version of Crash & Dash: The Convert-A-Car & The Buzz Wagon. If anyone else has models from the other Wacky Races games or is having problems ripping the models, Go to the "Help me!" forum.

Let's keep the ripping up for these racers!

Already in the final quarter of the year and boy is the site low on Wacky Races models! Try hard to tip models from the games and/or you can create your own custom Wacky Races Models yourself!

Let’s pick up the pace, submitters!

We’re a year in and I think it’s about time to share my thoughts on Crash & Dash on Wii.

The game is supposed to be like a party game like Mario Party where 4 players can join in and play together. There’s a total of 10 cars to play as but the Mean Machine can’t be playable which was a bit of a disappointment to me because it was my favourite car from the show and their drivers, Dastardly & Muttley were the reason I kept watching the show. Luckily the other 10 were playable including Red Max.

He somehow became my main racer in the game because of his Bomb Power. In some points of the races, The Double Zero will zoom past you and the others to gain the lead which somehow triggers a mini game in which you have to play. My absolute favourite is the one with the falling boulders! As soon as you approach the home stretch, you have to shake your Wiimote to dash ahead of the racers to win the race!

“But, how do I get my racer to go faster?” I hear you say? The gimmick is to stay on the screen to fill up your Mad Dash Meter. As soon as it’s full, you will gain a small cog. If you manage to use your Way-Out Wacky Power to destroy all the other racers’ cars, you will be given a “Super Screen Out”. This gives you two extra cogs for your chances to win the mad dash higher. If your racer crashes or is off-screen for 3 seconds, you’ll lose a cog. So you better stay on the screen!

Overall, the game’s alright, The models look beautifully made, The mini games are good and the only thing that’s bad about the game is that the Mean Machine not playable. So this game is given a 7.5/10.

So, do you agree with my review? Let me know. And let’s get more love to the Wacky Races by supporting models and sprites!

Update Time!

I created a new Wacky Races Customs selection to the Custom/Edited section of The Models Resource.

Just pointing it out. I don't want to get any more percentage on the warning level.
