[Ripened Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love] Ideas on how to organize a huge spritesheet?
#1
So I've managed to rip all Tingle sprites from Ripened Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love (or at least I think I have) and I'm now in the process of making a spritesheet out of them.

The problem, though, is that the spritesheet in question is huge. At first, its size was something along the terms of 3000x15000 pixels. I decided to effectively offload some of the sprites into some separate spritesheets, each for a specific context (e.g. title screen, close-up sprites, etc), but the remaining sprites occupy a spritesheet which is approximately 3000x10500 pixels and I seem to have run out of additional contexts I can think of.

I can reduce the spritesheet size to approximately 1000x13000 (the rightmost two thirds of the spritesheet are virtually empty), but that still makes the spritesheet unwieldly big (because scrolling on an image with a height of at least 10K pixels is not fun at all).

What other ideas/tricks could I use so that people will not have to put up with a huge spritesheet?

Can you upload the sprites in a .ZIP/.RAR archive? On mega.nz or mediafire?

I'll take a look.

Does an Imgur link work for you? If so, here's how my spritesheet looks right now: https://imgur.com/a/zp6ny3J

Less than 2MB?

That's totally alright. If you can't split it further, then it is how it is.

There are way larger sprite sheets on TSR, this one shouldn't be an issue.
