What best converters to use on TIM2 and ART2 Image files? (or other unusual formats)
#1
So my asset extraction progress got up to the point where it spits out folders upon folders of mysterious files (it has no identifiable format, and just says "file" in Windows)
Opening them in Notepad shows "Tim2" and "art2" labels, and upon Googling they seems to be some sort of unusual or encrypted image files? Any idea what to use to turns these into regular JPG/PNGs? I Googled and found nothing.

Also speaking of unusual... I came across this ZIP folder in my game assets folder and the files are labelled "psb" and "jpg.a". Neither files would open in normal image viewers, so I assumed that those were archived/encrypted as well. If anyoen knows what these are, some help is appreciated.

tim2 is an extension used by PS2, psb is an extension used by photoshop
BUT extension never tells anything for sure. Can you upload a few files so we can take a look at the innards?
Once there was a way to get back homeward

Oh yeah, you're right.
Here's a link with some samples of the various files: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/c3wt2xlkbs1dq...fQmZa?dl=0

the *.psb and *.jpg.a are from a different game than the ar2(?) and *.pmf files.
