Digimon Story CyberSleuth Complete Edition PC Model Ripping HELP!
#1
So I have tried every possible way I can imagine. NinjaRipper, 3DX Ripper, using quickbms script of chorrax to export files etc.

PS4 version scripts don't work on PC. , NinjaRipper injector and DX11 dll isn't much help.

I just want Agumon costumes and NX Royal Knights, they're chibi/SD and I need them!

Edit: Game uses OPENGL. Not DirectX, my bad

It is said to be the same archive as Chaos Rings 3. A script is posted on Xentax. Please give it a try.

*A completely different algorithm may be used, but it may work if the header is rewritten.
Also, there may be Endian differences between the console version and the PC version. In that case, the script must be modified.

Game is using OpenGL. That much is obvious when exe uses OPENGL32.dll

That's why DirectX based rippers are no go. GLInterceptor doesn't want to cooperate.

Also Shiju. Hey there!

No. PS4 scripts don't work as I've said in the first post. Otherwise I wouldn't request help here you know.

It gives an error about headers and certain bits are missing. It's obvious that steam version of archives are somehow different.

This is an AFS2 file. Unpacking will give you an *.bin(*.hca) file, but it is encrypted. reverse engineering is required to find the key.

That seems to be the case. Header doesn't exist in PC version as script looks for MDB1 but PC version has none. If you edit the file itself for MDB1 offset size changes which causes script to fail. Thus, indeed script needs editing. I'll contact the original creator of this script, hopefully he will help Smile

There is now a modding tool for DSCS:

https://github.com/SydMontague/DSCSTools

It can Decrypt and Encrypt all sorts of files from the game.

Oh... Thanks for this but I've already ripped bunch of models from the game (PS4 version) but didn't upload them here since you need to clean everything here and I'm too lazy to clean all those edges that appear on the models for some reason. Thanks again though, I've heard of this tool.

What tools are you using to convert the models? I'm struggling to find ones that work for any version of this game.

Google harder friend. It's out there, I can't send link due to reasons beyond me, but you can find it.

If you got the modeling, can you send it personally? I need it to make the game. Please.
