Castlevania : Grimoire of Souls - 3D model rips
#1
3D Modelling
EDIT: for convenience sake, I've made a another Google Drive account where i'll be uploading rips from few games i have in mind
I have yet to update this thread properly, in the meanwhile you can get the Assists, Enemies and Bosses 3D models as well as the voice clips from the playable characters here : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1AN5Bjg...NM_ujUmr63

Hello everyone, being quite the Castlevania fan and Grimoire of Souls being pretty fun, I've decided to rip some models from that game. (it uses Unity)
Makin' a thread to keep things rather organized, lol

Notes:
- For some reasons, i can't extract the playable character's model with their boneset at all, so they are in .obj format only.
- Alucard's alt costume have 2 corrupted textures in the data (for the alternate colors)
- The reason I use .fbx instead of .dae is because I can't get it to export in .dae format without screwing the boneset
- Some weapons doesn't seem to have a texture, period. (not sure if not there in the game's code or corrupted at export)

Playable Characters & Alt Costumes: (.obj)
Alter Arts: (.obj & .fbx)

Bosses: (.obj & .fbx)

Weapons: (.fbx)

Subweapons: (.fbx)

If anyone have any questions, feel free to ask!

Any chance for ripping models of the enemies? Cuz it's the first time of having a 3D appearance for most of these guys.

I don't mind at all, is there any in particular that you'd want?

Like, Any of the Axe enemies like Axe Lord, Axe Armor or whatnot. Is there a full list of enemies in the game?

I sent you a PM about this game, I dunno if you saw it...or even if it sent, my connection has been slightly unstable lately.

I was 120% sure i responded but i guess my answer hasn't being sent, so i may as well repost it here then :

I usually wouldn't mind uploading stuff like that but with my pretty bad internet connection, i can't really upload relatively large archives (like a full data rip)
What I may suggest tho, is to use an emulator (like BlueStacks, the way I do it) to extract it and transfer it to PC

I don't think there's an actual list of every enemies in the game, but I can have a look for these Axe related enemies.

I attempted to use Bluestacks but the game apparently isn't available outside of Japan, and any time I try to use a japanese APK and let it download the data, it just says it won't download because 'you may not have paid for this app'.

So it's not possible to pose these models ? Is there a manual way to add a boneset to character models ?

I personally use QooApp on Bluestacks to access the game, tbh.

.fbx files have their boneset, so it should be possible.

Do you know how to do it ? I have never heard of .fbx files hopefully maybe someone can do it in the future as I wanted to pose the characters and for example Maria's hair is all stiff so I can't relax it down like normal hair atm.

What did you use to extract the OBB data? I managed to acquire it but the usual methods of extracting fail. I get a headers error.

Hair rigging should come down to just being regular bones, but people don’t always get that ripped as much as they do the body rigging. If that’s the case, you’d either need to rip it yourself with rigging or make bones and paint weights yourself.
Oh gosh I have only just started trying to get into using models and I'm using XNALara to view and move them ,I have a feeling making bones and these weights wont be something that can be done so easily , I have the game but have no idea how you open up an apk file and I can only play the game on my actual Iphone My Laptop wont play it for some reason , should I maybe go to the request section ?
As I'm working on a little side project and I need the characters to be facing in front, kind of like how the characters face in the old Sega Mega Drive Phantasy Star games.
where would be the best place to start to learn how to add these bones or make them ? or is it really too hard for beginners ?

Hello, I have recently registered to thank contributions like this. Many thanks for sharing the models! Smile

I have extracted the game to save the images, the music and the text I was looking for, but I could not get any text and some images seem to be missing... ? Right now I'm trying to get the texts, any idea how I could do it?

EDIT: I managed to extract the texts correctly : D
