Is it really that difficult to rip non-Nintendo assets?
#1
I noticed the vast majority of ripped assets are from Nintendo games. Hell, even Overwatch only has 1 or 2 skins in its category when many have ripped it ad nauseum.

Is this just personal preference to avoid AAA or even just Western PC games in general? Or is it physically impossible?

Im not mad just really curious. Id love to know why there isnt really much going on in the non-Nintendo/JRPG front?

While the avoiding AAA could potentially be one reason, it is probably more to do with the site's requirements for uploads and the fact that a simple google search will usually result in a DA account with most of it uploaded. Some might not find it worth uploading here if it's already plastered all over due to it being a AAA title.

As for ease of ripping, that goes entirely on a game to game basis due to engine used, file packing, encryption, etc. and this is even before we get to model format. Detective Pikachu is was relatively easy to read file wise while pokemon battle revolution has been a pain in side with the way the file is set up.
