Neptunia IOS app (English?)
#1
Not sure if many people here still have it downloaded to their phones and whatnot but there was a Hyperdimension Neptunia app on the IOS store for a while, However: more specifically the English release of it seems to have been taken from the store. I was wondering if anybody still happens to have the app file and could possibly dump the voice clips, as I really was curious as to what the English version held. I unfortunately never got a chance to experience and purchase full version, however. But it seems like NIS America is no longer supporting it.

I just kinda hope all is not lost, you know?

So, Good news and bad news - First off is I've been able to actually get a hold of a preserved download link of the English version of the App. The bad news is... All these file extensions save for one of them are unknown.

TEST SAMPLE - WARNING: LOUD

all_pk.kog seems to be where I presume all of the basic assets are included in, While the CAF files are actually importable into Audacity (although demonic and ear-rapingly loud) I can clearly make out voices. Does anybody know how to open up the allpaks directory in that case? Because I assume a few other files like this are hidden in there somewhere. I imported it into Audacity and I swear here and there I can make out very inaudiable sped-up voices.

The .caf flles are standard CAFs (Apple's Core Audio Format) and aren't particularly loud - your CAF transcoder must be broken
The .kog file appears to be some kind of archive, likely to be encrypted but not necessarily compressed. Quick cryptanalysis shows some suspicious patterns but no leads. There's no magic number and no standard terminator.

Whoever developed this app might have other games released that's formats have been cracked. If you're lucky, the same scheme is used here.

EDIT: just checked that WAV, yeah, it's not supposed to sound like that. Here are the sounds converted the right way https://www.dropbox.com/sh/iv4ohosio8327...7dnwa?dl=0
Once there was a way to get back homeward
