NDS Atlus Packer help?
#1
Hi people!
I'm trying to rip content from some Shin megami tensei games, specifically Devil Survivor 1 (NDS) or Overclocked (3ds) and Devil Survivor 2 (nds) or Record Breaker (3ds). I've been able to extract the files but then I have the Target.bin, Target.idx and Target.ndx files. I found on the internet that you could use CUE's NDS Atlus Packer (https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/871/) to unpack the .bin file (at least the .bin pack from the NDS Devil Survivor games, but i'll try on the 3ds ones too), but I've been unable to make it work, I have no clue how I'm supposed to use that software. Anybody who knows could give me a bit of an explanation? If you're willing to do so, I also can upload the Target files to let you try.
Thanks in advance!

I think you either had to use a CMD window or you could just drag and drop the bin into the exe.
Doofenshmirtz: This is a little bit awkward but have you seen my escape jet keys? (Perry nods) What, you have? Well that's great! So where are they? (Perry looks away) You won't tell me? Is this because you don't speak or are you just being a jerk?

Thanks for answering!
I already tried to drag/drop into the .exe file, but it only opened this windows for like half a second https://www.romhacking.net/?page=utiliti...geid=title
Yet I didn't think about using the command line! Yet I didn't manage to make it work either, I opened a new Command window in the folder and tried a couple command line, such as :
D:\user\NDS Atlus Packer> unpack 'target' into '@target\\'
yet I only get a message as neither the "unpack" or the "extract" command lines are recognized as an internal or external command, an executable or a command file (I'm on windows)
Yet I'm not very used to command lines in general, so maybe you'd know about a working command in this kind of situation?

The command is "packer <filename>"

It should look like this "Very Sad\user\NDS Atlus Packer>packer target"
