I'm stuck with cmp files. Read for details
#1
I'm just getting into ripping as I want to dig out some models and scenes for personal non profit usage.

However as it stands right now I am stuck with loads of cmp files that I cannot work with and want to rip a couple for specific props.

I'm working with the Fire Emblem path of radiance files, I am interested in the two swords and the Black Knight combat-scene model.

I know where to look for these models, I have the sources in possession, I just need guidence or insight on where or how to access these so that I can work with them.

Also, I am not interested in the black knight general on the Models-resource as they are ripped from Custom brawl characters, this isn't what I am looking for.

Vert092 corrupted the animation of the characters they wanted to rip by swapping the files (excluding pack.cmp) with those from Radiant Dawn to get a binding pose, although I bet any file with the same name and extension would give similar results.
I wouldn't recommend 3D Ripper DX, because its developer stopped updating it in 2006 and it does not support x86 architecture.
I would recommend either using Ninja Ripper or 3DVIA Printscreen to hook Dolphin's DirectX renderer (the version is specified in GPU settings) and rip the models. In some cases these programs can also rip models with a binding pose.
