Kid Icarus (NES) Question
#1
So I'm looking to use an emulator to capture sprites from this game via screenshot.

Thing is, there's a gameplay mechanic whereby whenever Pit levels up his "Strength" (by obtaining a new arrow from Zeus), not only does Pit's pallette change, but so do every NPC, some items, and at least one enemy. There are five such strength levels (and thus five different palettes).

Does anyone know of any cheat codes to start me off with each palette/strength level? I'd like to play through the whole game as each of the five levels in order to make sure I capture all the color-changing sprites. I checked GameHacking.net, but the only code I found there was for max strength (not the others).

Couldn't you just capture all the sprites with one palette and then manually switch palettes afterwards? Sure you'd still have to see the palettes at each strength level but you don't have to go through and re-rip everything 5 times.
You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call "failure" is not the falling down, but the staying down. -Mary Pickford

Yeah, it'd be easier to capture everything in one palette first and determine what else uses it. Then get a color example for each level and manually recolor everything instead of capturing everything per color.
Doofenshmirtz: This is a little bit awkward but have you seen my escape jet keys? (Perry nods) What, you have? Well that's great! So where are they? (Perry looks away) You won't tell me? Is this because you don't speak or are you just being a jerk?
