Idea:No genres from Custom/Edited games
#1
I brought up this idea up on Discord, but I thought I'd post it here as well.

Simply put, the site has an option to categorize games by genres instead of system. However, every single Custom/Edited section (and their sheets) is given the genre "Other" which causes actual games with that "Other" genre to be mixed in with custom/edited sheets if you were to search that category.

It'd be pointless to have a "Custom/Edited" genre as searching through the Custom/Edited "system" gives the same exact results.

I think this makes sense but the system is designed to require a genre and I'm not sure I want to work out checking when you're editing if the game is in a particular section. I suppose I could just filter out the customs section in the Other genre list though. The problem with either approach is that there will be a chunk of content missing from the site if browsing by genre.

While we're on the subject, I feel like the Customs section should either be at the top of the list on the left, or at the bottom. That way it's not treated like another system and gets special attention.

I'm 50/50 on that. I get where you're coming from but I also like things remaining alphabetical so I'm not totally sure.
