Dumping textures using Glide64
#1
I have tried this and it does absolutely nothing. Please don't suggest another plugin: it's the only one that renders the game I'm trying to dump from properly.

From what I understand, you enable the plugin to dump textures and then press "D" during gameplay. That doesn't work for me. Nothing happens at all. It doesn't help that there are absolutely no tutorials on how to use this function anywhere.

Please help.

Have you tried GlideN64? (Yes, that's a different plugin)

As I've done a couple texture dumps using it, and I could help.

Or, you could use the VRML exporter, as it dumps the textures, too.
I like to make models in my free time. I also make weird games, too.

I tried VRML, but the specific thing I wanted to rip doesn't involve any 3D models (it's the title screen) and it didn't work. I ended up just configuring the emulator to run at the title screen background's native resolution and simply did a screenshot.

I don't believe I've tried GlideN64. I'll look into that.
