Hey, can anyone get me the files from the DLC 'update'? I want to get the model of Mechikabura.

I'm new here by the way so Hi.

I get that crap too and could NEVER figure out how to get that damn program to work correctly. I asked but never got straightforward answers.

There's a BMS? I'll have to check that out!

I've actually ripped Jiren from Update 1.3.0, but I honestly didn't know there was a Mechikabura model too.

If you extract the RomFS from the DLC Update CIAs, all files are stored in a DLC_Root folder, and from there all files are stored the usual way.

There's only a problem though. Can someone please tell me how to make white textures transparent/colourable? It's my only problem as the rest of the textures (toon ramps included) work divinely in Blender.
We should need more models, so I'm trying my best to help with new rips.

I have the DLC CIA but have no way of extracting the ROMFS from it. I can't really mod my 3DS as it's a shared device between myself and a few others, and none of the current tools available have a way of dumping from DLC CIA's. If anyone has the files from it, please PM them to me?

Ok guys, I think I've got it about the skin textures. I'll show you how I did it if you wait some days, but the result is like this:

✓ ANDROID #16 = Done!
✓ JIREN THE GREY = Done!
✓ OMEGA SHENRON = Almost done Done!
We should need more models, so I'm trying my best to help with new rips.

Unfortunately this involves manually painting textures, but at least it uses toon ramps

I've found my own way of coloring textures easily in photoshop.

Alrighty guys, here's the tutorial about how to "restore" transparent textures in Ultimate Misson X!
After you've decrypted the BCH with the BMS, Spica can load your model. Here's an example.

We now want to export this model into a DAE model readable in Blender, so we need to export it with the Batch Exporter incorporated in Spica:
After this process, this is what we've got:
Now we need to import the model in Blender, but after that, we'll see this as a result:
You may ask me how to solve it. So, let the good ol' uncle Yarn explain it to you!
Thankfully, we've exported the models in Spica instead of Ohana, so textures can be saved.
You need to go to the Texture panel and disable Alpha:
Then you'll get a white texture you need to save on the Image Editor:
Then open Photoshop, use the Magic Rubber item and remove all the white that's unnecessary:

If you're not satisfied with this result, you can also use this method:
And with this you'll get a nice transparent texture ready to be painted with some background colors, just like this:
All reflection map and toon ramp textures are color inverted, so I won't put an example about them because it's EXTREMELY EASY to invert colors on them...

Once all textures are fixed with this method, the result looks just like this:

Hope this helped you all!

UPDATE: I found a better way of painting these textures by simply using the Color Replacing Brush. But I'll try it tomorrow, since now it's too late.

How about you buddy? What method did you use for painting the textures?

Hi, I'm trying to extract Supreme Kai Shin and I'm having some problems. I can't get HackingToolKit9DS to extract the contents of DecryptedRomFS.bin. I type fs2 to extract the file partition and select extract contents from DecryptedRomFS.bin and it instantly says "extraction done!" without doing anything. Does anyone know what's up, or does anyone have the model for shin on hand?
