Help with Spritesheet
#1
Sorry fo the double post
I'm not a game developer, but I completed  a tutorial to prepare for a project to clone Super Mario, and thanks to this site I was able to get some images for the game

I have questions in regards to the sprites
thanks to this here site, I was able to  download this sheet of Mario https://www.spriters-resource.com/nes/su...eet/50365/

and as you can see it's one of Mario at different locations

1. Do I need to separate them per row

2. Should i also separate them per activity i.e. running/climbing/swimming / etc?

So i might have found the answer of my 1st question. for walking i'll just need to declared an animation method (using phaser) and assign it the frames in an array the fps and the number of loops.
can anyone concur ?
