Arel Wars 2 .pzx files
#1
This was a not so old android game with some nice sprites which I used to play, I kinda got the bug to play it again and lo and behold, it was "online" even when it was a single player game and the servers have been dead for years. Wanted to see if I could get some graphics out at least to scratch that itch.

Attached are some sample files if someone would like to give me a hand and see if they can findanything using tileGGD or something, I have never managed to get anything out of GGD myself *shame.

Attached Files
.zip   arelWars2.zip (Size: 800.19 KB / Downloads: 130)

TiledGGD gives nothing, it's likely that the PZX is a compression scheme.
I tried looking into it, hoping it was just a renamed zip/xz/gz/x/tar/rar/lha/whatever but nothing seems to work.
Googling the magic numbers or the PZX headers yield no results and there's no plaintext anywhere

Do you have any clue in which program the game might've been made with? If you can find strings relating to Unity or something, we might be able to narrow down on the format candidates (maybe there's a PZX compression toolset that was released in the Unity forums years ago or something but everyone forgot or the spec was never indexed to google)

EDIT: It's also worth noting that these files aren't particularly large. Are you absolutely certain that they're graphics?
EDIT EDIT: I checked the APK out. No idea what's going on, sorry Sad
Once there was a way to get back homeward

Yeah guessed as much, thank you for trying anyway;, the game is made with cocos2D, which is a pretty open ended framework where everyone implements everything as they see fit.

I kinda feel sad for the kids that grow up on these games, they will never experience the nostalgia of playing the games you grew up with when you are older.
