Hello!
I'm Pikochuhascello, though Lynn works just fine.

I'm going to be getting into 3D game development and animation, and I figured that here, Blender and Unity were good places to start.

As a developer, my two current highest-priority projects consist of a 3D map examination tool (mainly for planning dramatic camera angles and/or fabulous screenshot photography) and basically a re-work of the character dress-up menus from Pokémon Sun and Moon, just for computers with a few extra bells and whistles. Neither project will be released to the public (because of Unity's terms of use and my own will to abide by copyright rules and regulations), but the results will be on my Tumblr eventually.

Here, though, I'd like to rip specifically from the Xbox 360, from a lesser-known party game inspired by a movie - Rio. The character models in that game make for nice rigging references for anyone with a character who uses their wings like those birds do...and besides, there's an audio track that just about everyone on YouTube wants to hear - the no-lyrics version of "Real in Rio" that serves as the game's title theme. And besides, the other songs in the game are fabulous anyways so why not. I might also contribute to the PokéPark area, because the scenery was absolutely stunning in the second installation.

So, um...salutations once more!

Hey Lynn, welcome to VGR! Those sound like neat projects, it's nice to make things like that and can be really valuable experience even if you don't end up releasing them.

More rippers are always welcome, although I should point out that The Sounds Resource is only for sound effects - no music. You can still rip the music of course (and we'd be glad to try help if you need it), it just won't be accepted as a submission.

Enjoy your stay Smile
