Trying to rip assets from andriod game: tiny farm - images won't load?
#1
Shocked
I've gone through all the steps for the simple apk extraction, however when I go into the actual folder, most of the images don't work/won't open.

All the files with the default image won't seem to open and i'm unsure why?
Is there anything I can do to view these files?

They might be corrupted? Or the extractor didn't get everything 100% right.
I like to make models in my free time. I also make weird games, too.

I thought so too, so i tried multiple different apk extractors, but it all comes to the same result.

I also noticed they're jpgs.

Maybe if you change the file extension, it'll work? As I find it odd that sprites would be stored in jpgs.

Open up the files with word/notepad to see the intended file type. Usually, the intended file type is the 1st line of text in the document.

Thank you for your help so far! I did give it a try but after trying some of the working images (to see it would say png, just for reference) I then tried the broken images.
I only ended up with garbled nonsense:

I've looked around to see if anyone else has been successful at pulling assets from this game, but it doesn't seem like anyone has.
Perhaps I'm just not doing the right methods or they purposely made it difficult to do this.

Could you upload some of these files for us to look at?
