Lego Dimensions sound files
#1
I have a PS4 disk for Lego Dimensions and I was wondering how I could rip the sounds from that game so I can add them to the site out of pure interest and satisfaction to others.

You can't, PS4 is not accessible yet.

It's on the Wii U, too. Perhaps that might be easier to rip from currently?

I've grabbed and extracted the XBOX360 version's archives. I'm studying the native audio format right now (*.CBX extension). Give it some time, and I might be able to figure it out.

And when you do, be sure to submit the voice clips (dialogue to be specific) first if you get the chance.

Sorry to bump this thread, but has there been any progress with the .CBX files?

I have looked and there is content missing from the DLC. I have tried converting the DLC's files, but there are still .CBX files, which I cannot find much information on, and strangely unplayable .OGG files (in addition to playable ones). If I share the raw files with someone here, could they help convert them to a playable format?

Anyone got samples from CBX? Now that I know much more than I did certainly three years ago, I'm feeling more confident that I can take a look at this format.

I sent you a level's folder with several .CBXs. Good luck!
