How to Play Yoshi's Safari on an Emulator
#1
Does anybody know how to play Yoshi's Safari on an Emulator like BizHawk oe zSNES?

I have a mouse that I'd like to use for the Super Scope, but I don't know how to get it to work. Sad

In zSNES, go to Config > Devices, and change Port 2 to Super Scope.
Doofenshmirtz: This is a little bit awkward but have you seen my escape jet keys? (Perry nods) What, you have? Well that's great! So where are they? (Perry looks away) You won't tell me? Is this because you don't speak or are you just being a jerk?

I think I got it.

But just to be safe, how do you play it on BizHawk?

Like, how do you get the controls to work on BizHawk to play Yoshi's Safari?

In other words, nobody has the slightest idea on how to configure Super Scope/Mouse controls on BizHawk?

I've dicked around with it and I can't even find an option for changing peripherals, so it looks like it's less how to configure and more like it doesn't exist in it.

Just curious, why are you using it over Higan?

Because the BizHawk Emulator has a special Graphics Tool that can help you rip sprites, tilesets, backgrounds and even textures.

What does Higan have?

Accuracy. Byuu was passionate about the SNES. As a result, he was aiming for perfect SNES emulation when he created the emulator known as BSNES, which is now called Higan. He aimed to make it work with games and accessories other emulators had trouble with. He has made quite a bit of progress on that goal from what I understand. He went so far as to try to implement the Super Game Boy among other things.

Ask him if he can add some sort of Graphics Ripping/Viewing Tool if possible.

He mentions something about Loki being a debugging tool. I'm not sure if it is what you need or not. If it's not, there's another tool on his site called mosaic that might be worth looking into.
