So I've been trying and failing to rip Link's Awakening. Has anyone here had any luck on that front?

I ripped Ganondorf from Hyrule Warriors and the various hair/cloth bones.
Does anyone know of the best way to rig the hair/clothes at this point? The hair isn't rigged but the textureless square here is, so I was thinking if there was a way to bind the hair to the square mesh rather than the armature, that might be the best way to do it.

Ripped Ganon from Link's Awakening and painted on some textures.

I'm having issues properly exporting from Blender as either Colladas or fbx's, can anyone double-check to see if these models actually work on their computers?
This also originally came with a normal map, but it's too large to attach, so here's a separate link. https://i.imgur.com/9Xc86H0.png

I have been able to use Steven's Gas Machine (SGM) to extract stage .BIN.GZ files using [PS3] Dragon Quest Heroes from Hyrule Warriors Wii U.

To get stage and people files

1. Choose [PS3] Dragon Quest Heroes...
2. Select folder where the .BIN.GZ files are.
3. Say "Yes" to everything else

Textures output by SGM are broken with the Wii U files so you need to pull textures from .BIN.GZ using Switch ToolBox. Now you need a mass file renaming program. SGM output textures that are all numbers (Ex: ###.dds) while Switch ToolBox will save textures with the prefix of texture_ (Ex: texture_#.dds to texture_###.dds.)

With the mass renaming program you need to remove the texture_ from all of the Switch ToolBox textures AND make sure all of the textures are are 3 numbers long (or is it 2 numbers long?). After that you should have no problem loading the wavefront .obj output by Steven's Gas Machine with textures.

I just got home and tried it but I'm still having trouble i press yes to everything like I was told and it just gives me the idxzrc files I have no problem with the textures I know how to get them but when ever I put the bin files in the program and try to get the wavefront object I can't I tried with other files like characters same result I used Wii u and switch versions and still nothing I tried the method on xnalara forms also but it didnt work either. Do I have to remove the textures first or can it be the original file I'm sorry if I'm asking alot of questions

What I do is copy the .bin.gz file I want to extract to its own folder. Than than Steven's Gas Machine extract all contents of that folder. It may not work with every .bin.gz. I only started messing with this a week ago. I do know SGM doesn't work right with S011-Model.bin.gz

No but I'm not a fan of extracting everything in one big dump. No fun if you get an error that stops the program and you left with a half extracted mess to sort out or in you case no idea what went wrong.

I had no problem extracting all of the stages in one try but for characters I just looked at a few and they are all named so no need to dump them in a group to find out what files has what character.

Also SGM will DELETE .bin.gz files after extraction. So NOT a good idea to extract the only set of .bin.gz files you have.

I know nothing about the Switch version. Everything I posted is for Wii U. All I know came from this old thread. It maybe worth a read for you. https://web.archive.org/web/201904070506...arriors/1/

EDIT:
Wondering if maybe if the files are compressed and need to be decompressed. I think I saw that Random Talking Bush has decompression script for QuickBMS.
