If you watch the video I gave a link to, you'll see I'm using UE4.

If you want some stuff for you game, I think it's a very good pack : http://info.sonicretro.org/SonicGDK
I cant use SonicGDK Cry because it's for UE and I have a bad experience witn Unreal Engine.
I think Unity is more simpler.

I've seen your video but I can't recognize UE4. Sorry Ouch! .

Probably, but it's going to be inspired by the kind of stages from the Dreamcast era.

PS: Ah, yeah, I deleted that channel, I'll have to make a new video on it, thanks.

Sonic Adventure ? There are already new levels (Sonic Generations, Sonic DX).
I think levels artwork can be useful.

Hey, guys, I'm also creating a Sonic fan game. It's based on Unity3D and I think I can export to various platforms, including Android and Mac (sorry, consoles -- I'm not that rich). Now, I'm gathering the 3D models and some tutorials for it.
It'll have mixed (2D + 3D) gameplay and will contain all the levels from:
Sonic 1
Sonic 2
Sonic CD
Sonic 3
and Sonic & Knuckles.

NO Sonic 4 or Sonic Adventure. Only the Genesis' classics.
My settings:
Vaio T-series
Core i3-3217 @ 1.8GHz
4GB RAM DDR3
Windows 8.1 Pro x64

You will create yourself the levels ? And for mixing 3D and 2D in one level, you have to do many camera animations and scripts. Good luck.

Thanks, bro. I'll need much luck (and lots of work too hehe). I'm gonna create'em myself. Yes, I'm learning about scripting and camera movements.
Note: in the 3D part, the camera will be 3rd person, and in the 2D it will go along with Sonic, just like in the old games.

You will use a perspective or an orthographic view ?

I'll use a perspective view, just like Sonic 1 or Sonic CD.

P.S.: Sorry for answering that late, I was a bit busy because of the work.

Sorry but now I have some performance problems on Android.
Do you can tell me what is the (integrated) GPU you have on your android device to maybe adapt a version ?
