How do you convert mini2sf audio files to .mp3s or even .wav files?

If I recall correctly, this is one of the few formats that has a Winamp plug in? I think I remember downloading files with that extention back in the day.

If I'm right, you can download and install that plugin, and then set Winamp's output to write WAV. Then just press play and let Winamp do the work.

I didn't install the plug-in right. Sad

I don't suppose there's anyone who can convert these mini2sf files into mp3's, MIDI or wave files, is there? Sad

I know foobar2000 has a plugin for 2SF files. I think if you right-click the file being played, there's an 'Export' function. I know it does WAV, never checked other formats...welp

EDIT : Had to reinstall the 2SF plugin to get it working :\ anyways, it's not "Export", it's "Convert"

I'll alright. I'll give foobar a try.

But where do I find the plugin for mini2sf?

Update: Well, foobar flunked! Even with the component, it still won't play the files!

Can't somebody? ANYBODY? Offer to help convert the mini2sf files for me?

Are you sure you installed the component correctly? Because it sometimes doesn't work.
Here's what you need to do :
1. Go into 'components' folder in FB2K
2. Extract the zip file with the component in there
3. If no .dll for that component is in that folder, then it won't work.

I also can convert the files for you but you did'nt specify what to even convert

Until someone makes an official YouTube tutorial of it, I may never fully grasp it. Sad

But still, I thank you for your help.

I don't suppose there's a way to turn mini2sf music files into midi files, is there?

But it's literally just double clicking an install .exe...

Anyway, MIDI's process differently, so no, you can't turn a mini2sf into one.

Oh, well... maybe someday.

Thanks for all of your help, though.

That goes for you, too, Quirby. Smile

No problem, dude.
Also - It's probably a matter of time before a 2SF to MIDI converter exists. A GSF to MIDI exists, so we just have to wait until someone decides to make it.
