New-Version .nif?
#1
Question
Okay, so, going through certain game files that use the ".nif" format for models an animation and such...I keep coming across 'new version' files that NifSkope cannot properly display. Some of these are vital to my projects, but all I need are textures and the base models, not the animations or such. I was hoping someone could have a look and see if there's a way to extract the models.

This link has the importer you're looking for
especially if what you're using is 3ds max

Wizard 101, actually. Which is odd because it's been out for a while...

oh
Well there might be the issue
it's using a different variation of the .nif format
the script I linked you is for Skyrim's and older .nif models that Bethesda uses.

Hence why I've asked for help here. Everything I've been able to find is flawed thus far. All I need is the geometry and textures, not animations or bones even...
