Skyla's Sprite Hut

Eh, I guess I can throw this up here?  I was looking through my old stuff and thought of it, so...

I mostly do frankensprites and RPG Maker stuff.  Because one day I will actually finish an RPG Maker game I start.  I was browsing through my stuff on Tumblr and stumbled over one of my entries for P4Week2014.

I adore Izanami on so many levels.  Awesome goddess will never be made insignificant by a crazy tsundere in my heart. Shy

Took Yukiko as a base and mishmashed parts from other characters to make it work (mostly Labrys, with some protag and Rise).  Who knows, maybe one day I'll go back and do something more canon for her.

well, at a first glance it looks okay but the shirt creeses look kinda subpar compared to the rest

there is too much banding there, and the right side of the shirt is a straight line, which is not wrong, but looks unusual. The extended arm has some jaggies that could be countered with smart AA, I believe

Some hair parts could have a better pixel placement (some strands seem jaggy) but all in all it looks nice, just try fixing those points

Thanks for the crit (though I'm confused at using anti-aliasing on a flat out pixelated sprite). I'm probably not going to do much with this sprite in particular, but I'll keep this in mind when I try to mess with this style of sprite again.

When I say AA, I mean putting those AA pixels by yourself. Pixelartists can place those AA dots manually, improving smoothness.
