Majoras Mask 3DS Rips
#1
There's this guy who goes by Twili over at Facepunch who has the MM3D file system and gave a download to the game's models folder.

http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1450844

There's a program called N3DSCmbViewer.exe that you can view Ocarina of Time 3DS models with, and export them as .dae(s).

There's also a program called mm2oot.exe that allows you to take the .cmb models and convert the Majora's Mask 3DS files into OOT models, and then you can export them into DAEs. So now we have access to like, every main model in MM3DS, and I've got a few of them exported already...

So what do I do with them? Anyone else here want to help add them to the site?

The main reason I want to see them here is because I suck at modeling and I really want to see a lot of these characters up on Brawl Vault so I can use them in Smash Bros.

(His eyes are a seperate object that are down by his feet, a lot of these models are like that)

As a note, I would like to mention that I don't care for any kind of credit for these. If nobody else will spend the time converting and uploading them, however, I will, if only because I really want to see them on the Brawl Vault. So with this information, please, do what you will with these models.

If someone could tell me how to submit them I'll gladly get started.

I'd love to get these models converted and uploaded here too. It's been almost a month. Any chance you still need help with this?

Just throwing this in, a while back when I was playing with OOT3D's models (I've got 32 in the queue right now), I could fix the eyes being a seperate mesh by using Blender's Fill Holes feature. Automatically updates the UV mapping too.

I see no reason why this wouldn't work with MM3D's models too.

Do you have a copy of the version you used? Version 0.2 is crap and, the origional site is gone. So I can't find a stable version of the program . N3DSCmbViewer_test9.rar

Yeh, I'm looking for the "N3DSCmbViewer-bin-src.rar" version, because it fixes the dislocated objects which occur with the only available version currently
