Is it possible to update a texture download?

K. Hard to categorize these with like 5000 of them, but for now I will submit the cars as one zip. Do each have to be their own or can one zip include all car textures? Btw I will finish menus in a future date. My ripping process only includes 3d textures atm. Should I fix textures that get split into multiple rows?

This actually brings up a question that's been on my mind recently. What is the max size limit for uploading a downloadable file now? There is one still, right?
EDIT: Pff, don't know how I skimmed over this.

As for your other point, good catch. I just looked it up and you're right - it's just Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. I'll fix that now.

250mb use spinzip to cut it into smaller files without the zips being dependant on eachother

You shouldn't make them dependant of each other; otherwise people still need to download all of them to actually open it. All you're doing this way is bypassing the upload limit, but still making it a huge download. Split it into separate, independent ZIP files, so that people can only download the ones they need.

thats what I said. I said they would not be dependant with spinzip. other programs make them all require eachother while spinzip allows you to set a limit for the individual zips, but they are independnt. Also I still need to know if I should upload each vehicle separately or the entire set of vehicles textures.

Whoops, looks like I read your post incorrectly. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

If each vehicle is more than 10MB I would say submit them individually. It really depends on how many there are though. Do whatever you feel is best.

I will upload them individually, however I will upload the normal maps as one pack separately since most people don't need them.

I think you should upload the normal maps with the vehicles, characters, etc. Most people find the normal maps useful.

There's also no reason to separate them... We categorize everything we upload - characters, individually, cars, individually... If people don't need the normal maps, they don't need to extract them. If they do, they have to get 2 zips, and that's a waste of efficiency, and is poor organisation. You lump that on top of putting all cars together too and you've got a real mixed bag of categorisations and nobody knows what's going on. Yeah, organising 5,000 textures might be a pain, but that's the only hard part... Converting stuff using an already existing script isn't hard at all. :\

yeah but then I realized i missed a lot of textures and now I have over 7000 lol. But I'll start organizing now.

Should the car textures be with the respective character?
