Rabbids Go Home .sns
#1
Hello everyone! So I was playing RGH and I fell in love with the audio. I managed to get the Wii ISO and extract the .BF file it contained, and got tons of random files named .sns. From research, they contain audio. So I could not find ANYWHERE on how to extract these/decompress them to make them work. Does anyone know something that can rip the audio from these files? Or maybe find them in another file? Because I mainly want the music. And yes, I know I can just go on YouTube or iTunes, but there is music that isn't released anywhere that is in the -game.

-Thanks

Same with the .bik files, can't get them to work either. Question

Looks like puggsoy's VGSC supports .sns

Might as well give that a shot.

How? It just says that it isn't allowed.

Isn't allowed? What isn't exactly? Blank

When ever I go to attach the file, it says that it isn't allowed. The .sns isn't allowed.

Put it in a .zip, then upload. More than one would be good too, maybe 3-5 if possible.

I knew I'd encountered these before. Still have no idea what to do with them. I might try some things later on, but I'm not promising anything.

Ok well I really am dying to know how to get these open... Maybe some kind of decompressing that will open it, idk.

Question, in that other post what did you mean by remove the first 32 bytes? How can I do that?

You can do this using a hex editor such as HxD. These usually count in hexadecimal, so when selecting bytes the "length" counter near the bottom left should say "20" for 32.

If you select the first 32 bytes in the file and delete them then it looks like a WAV file, but it still doesn't work, so that might not help anyway.

Also why did you mark this thread as solved? Did you figure it out?

Not really, I just figured since you said your not going to do anything about why keep it up. Anyway thanks. Hopefully someone will help, I absolutely love the music in this game and hope to rip it someday. Big Grin

And I didn't get at all what you said lol, can you be a bit more descriptive? Sorry I haven't used the program in awhile. Btw I'm using HxD.
