Pokémon Model Ripping Project
Why are all bones in blender oriented strangely? They look to be positioned alright in 3dsMax.

Also, how do you get the animations into 3DSMax? It doesn't have .smd support & converting to .fbx with Noesis didn't seem to help.

I will LITERALLY PayPal someone some money if they can show me how to properly export the SV animations haha

And I know Switch Toolbox has been brought up, but I have the latest version and I can't figure it out (since I've never really needed to use it before).

Blender has an addon with .smd support

Hello,

I need help to extract the pokémon's 3d models from the game pokémon scarlet version.

I'm using the software toolbox and when I try to open the game in Toolbox I allways get this error message :

Unable to decrypt NCA section.

Key type: common

key name: K=key_area_key_application_0d

so with that I can't access to the 3d model in the game

someone know what that is and can help me?

thanks in advance

I was wondering can anyone rip the animations of the player trainer and the npc trainers in scarlet in violet? Oh ofc the other games as well. I realized that only the pokemon animations are ripped but not these.

Yeah, I can rip the trainer animations. Lately, I been using this nifty tool called Trinity Mod Loader to extract literally every file from the game. This tool is generally popular for modding Scarlet/Violet, but it's also surprisingly good at exporting files (such as .tranm)
For every model folder (such as "model_uq"), there was also an animation folder along with it (such as "motion_uq"). Random Talking Bush just never bothered to upload those motion folders for some reason.

In any case, I already extracted Every file from SV and put it in a compressed 7-zip folder. It's about 22.4 GB in total when you unzip it, but I'll leave a link here if you're still interested: https://mega.nz/folder/ThEFDRRC#Mmktq72Mz-nxCethlhdAjg
---

The only downside is that I know how to turn these .tranm into usable .smd files, but the faces unfortunately stay pretty static. I honestly don't know much about how SV handles the faces and Shape Keys. https://files.catbox.moe/tlfq58.webm

There any kind of tutorial? Because I've had these SV animations danglin in front of me since the day they were uploaded and, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to open and extract them haha. Switch Toolbox was suggested and I couldn't get it to pull up the .tranm files and now this is suggested and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to make what you posted work with Trinity Mod Loader which I also don't know how to work haha

Oh nice also man this is a lot of files lmao. is there by any chance you can make a list that shows what character models are in these folders? Also can you make a tutorial video on how to convert these models into the format? I did watch your pokemon version one and well its totally different from from doing these.
(sorry for deleting and reposting I'm kinda new with this replying thing lol)

oh one more thing I forgot to ask how you converted the .tranm animation files into .smd format? Is there by any chance you can upload a tutorial on youtube on how to do it?

Might be a dumb question, but how do I access the animations in the MEGA folder? all the animations under sun and moon animations are in bin files, which I'm not really sure how to open. Thanks!

You need to find oo2core_6_win64.dll from somewhere, certain PC games have it, otherwise you can just Google it and you're likely to find it.
