Yeah, I can rip the trainer animations. Lately, I been using this nifty tool called Trinity Mod Loader to extract literally every file from the game. This tool is generally popular for modding Scarlet/Violet, but it's also surprisingly good at exporting files (such as .tranm)
For every model folder (such as "model_uq"), there was also an animation folder along with it (such as "motion_uq"). Random Talking Bush just never bothered to upload those motion folders for some reason.

In any case, I already extracted Every file from SV and put it in a compressed 7-zip folder. It's about 22.4 GB in total when you unzip it, but I'll leave a link here if you're still interested: https://mega.nz/folder/ThEFDRRC#Mmktq72Mz-nxCethlhdAjg
---

The only downside is that I know how to turn these .tranm into usable .smd files, but the faces unfortunately stay pretty static. I honestly don't know much about how SV handles the faces and Shape Keys. https://files.catbox.moe/tlfq58.webm

Could you please tell me how to turn .tranm files into usable .smd? I'd like to use them with my model in Blender.

I need some help to import SV models to Unity. Importing on Blender looks great, and I can even do animations without any problems.

However I find challenging importing the model to Blender, the textures look weird. The eyes in particular cannot be imported directly, and I thought of baking them on a separate texture. It doesn't look as good as it does in Blender. Any tips on how to do this process correctly? Any software to help on it? Thanks

Unity bad

Blender good

Blender good

the models in SV use 2nd uvs and also a masking and coloring system, easy and fastest way is make a new uv and bake the texture to it i guess, or in unity keep using the additional uvs and make a shader just like blender's to color eyes and such

So I just baked every object texture into a 1K texture Normal, Diffuse, Roughness,... on a new UVs and this fixed the problem with textures but introduced a new problem. Visible seams. Maybe I could bump up texture resolution.

Multiple objects, multiple materials

One object, one material but looks worse

Now that Pokemon home version 3.0.0 is out

is there anyone maybe looking into ripping the models for the scvi mons from pokemon home? they seem a lot more unity friendly than scvi's own format

i did try using the existing aba decrypter already, but it looks like the new added files dont work with it i think, like they changed the encryption or something, im not sure

Then we will have to wait for the decryptor to be updated

Is it just me or they hidden the Pokémon asset bundles in home? I can't seem to find them anymore in files/tyranitar where they previously were. I tried to see if they put them in the root folder but no hope.

theyre just server side now is all from what i can tell, if you view a mon in your app then look in cache files inside your phone files youll be able to find three files associated with a mon
A core bundle that seems to be compressed that appears to contain the rig, the materials most of the bundle

then itll have two other bundles that pair with it that are uncompressed
one that contains the mesh and the animation clips
and a second that contains the textures

these appear to attach to or modify the base bundle somehow, the shiny version for example uses the same two initial files together but uses a different texture bundle with the shiny textures

if you go in and view a mon in the app, then make it move and animate, then close the app and search through the cache, the three most recent files in the cache should be these three of the last mon you saw

the uncompressed bundles have some sort of header in them that you have to trim with a hex editor before you can open them like a normal unity file though
i usually just go in with hex editor and find the first time it says unity, then the second time it says unity, and trim that first unity part out, that lets assetstudiogui load the models and textures and stuff

but im not sure what to do about the core compressed bundle, i can tell it also has that same repeated header inside it just by looking at patterns, but the data is all scrambled or encrypted i think still, need to get that one unscrambled to get the full uncompressed set i think

Hello! I have a question regarding the player character model. I can access/rip any model from Violet though for some reason the player base skeleton refuses to load.

Does he mean Google Drive? If so do you mind sharing the link to the HOME models please?
