Sportoise's Silly Sprites

I call 'em Broot. He's a little mushroom turtle (a Sportoise, if you will) and I'm trying to do this in the TFR style. I'm sure there's places to where I can improve, anatomy is hard

I tried to make his shell a little more "mushroom-y"

Any better? Also, are the lines too much?

Probably because of his pipe (it's kinda small) but at the moment looks a bit like a snake head growing out of a mushroom. Big improvement from the first one though (which looked rather like a pizza).

So if I was you I'd make the pipe more readable and make the legs fit in wit the rest of it (there pallete seems to be completely different)
