The face could use a lot less shading.

I thought the shading was a bit too much, yeah. Mostly I was just trying to communicate that I'm not fully Caucasian but I found a more accurate skin tone in the palette anyway. That eliminated the need to use the highlights so sparingly.

Is this better?

I'd go for flat shading, it'll make your life easier. Don't hesitate in making your own thread! Smile

Created some hitsparks. It's for multiple characters, so I figured this was the best place to post it.

Question
Hello, I wanted to add my character to the project, but I do not know if I have permission, or if the project is still active, so before I do anything, I want to know if I can. I can?

I work on the engine in my spare time whenever I can, though due to the nature of my job I rarely get time for it this season of the year.

As far as adding yourself, people who are newer or less active in the community are generally prioritized lower for playability. I recommend making a thread for your character in this Fighter's Resource subforum and getting feedback from other members. When your sprites are ready and your own presence on the forum is better known, you'll be ready to be added.
