The end of Japanese Whaling

After all those years of hunting whales for the sake of "science," it finally catches up to Japan. I didn't read the article fully, but it might suggest that there might be just a little more whaling; however, the good news is that Japan has agreed to use non-leathle means of studying the aquatic mammals.

Any thoughts on this?

I don't see what the big deal is. Whales and dolphins were the ones that dropped the atomic bomb on them during WWII

I really hope this is actually respected considering Japan's history in such matters to disregard international law.
