3D Ripper DX screwing up models
#1
So I just recently downloaded 3D Ripper DX, and tried to use it in Dolphin to rip some stuff. I make a capture of this scene:

(I know the lighting and shading is absent, that's because Dolphin isn't good at emulating this game)

Then I bring it into Blender...

And turn the viewport around...

Not only is everything mirrored (notice how her vehicle is to her left and the cacti to her right in-game, but it's the other way around in the 3D Ripper snapshot), but she also seems to have gotten flattened. How do I flip everything back, or stretch her out to make her retain her width?

Thank you for your time. Smile

in blender to mirror a model go in edit mode and use the mirror modifier also join all the meshes before you do this, also back up your copy of the model as well as for to retain her width go into edit mode press s + y and you should be able to stretch out her y axis, s + z is the height and s + x is her width from the front of the model.

also from the 2nd screen shot it looks like the models are skewed possible squashed too look at this page at the bottom of the 1st post and look how to fix those.

hope this helps Smile

It worked! Thank you!

EDIT: Now whenever I try to add the textures after mirroring everything, or mirror everything after adding the textures, they appear on the inside rather than the outside. What do I do?

ahh that's a simple fix just go into edit mode on each part of the mesh (if there are seperate meshes or if there's just one mesh do the same thing) then press w than click flip normals
