The only thing I dislike in games, more specifically MMORPGs is this kind of shit:

Sincerely, if I truly wanted to look at ecchi stuff, I'd watch ecchi anime. I don't understand the logic behind that. Though, I admit that it works since I'm also a poor victim of these money sucking games.

Just my 2¢

Which is what we're doing here

Isn't Daisy this stereotype already?

And what's wrong with Peach apologizing? I can't see that in a bad light aside from it being her character, which is not useless not even conceptually. She's kidnapped all the time yeah, but she's also the ruler of the whole kingdom (which is often expanded in the RPGs).

No seriously, being girly is bad now? So they should actually be all action packed girls that sound and act like man? That's one way that characters like Ivy get created, y'know. If anything, I'm way more for a girl being, like, herself, a girl, than a "badass woman that punches man in the face", which ends up more than often being a shallow character.

Maybe I'm not expressing myself right at the moment, but this text here says everything I mean in this post: http://www.newstatesman.com/culture/2013...characters

I'm not saying Peach should change. I'm saying there should be more of an option. If you look at Mario Golf (NGC) for example you have a varied male cast, DK, Mario, Wario, Bowser - all different shapes and sizes with little personality traits. On the female side you have, well - not much to choose from.

It's the same idea that countless others here have said, you can have the stereotypes - but balance it out. The only none Princess playable Mario character in recent memory is the big bee in Mario Kart 7. And she's still a queen (but yes, also a bee - and bees are awesome).

I'm not asking for a stereotypical 'strong' female character. I'm asking for just a normal playable female. Or at least someone who isn't 'just another princess'.

(I am aware Daisy is often 'made' into a Tomboy by fans but looking at the games, well there's really nothing to support this).

...It's always written in her bio in the games, and I would say her usual renders portray this.

I also agree that maybe a more diverse cast for Mario would be good, but they usually follow a theme for playable characters and stuff. I'm just against this disregard for feminity that people seem to endorse, like if that was an actual bad thing for girls.

Nothig ever supports daisy's brashness, nope.
