Is Luigi actually overshadowing Mario now?

Mario completely and utterly eclipses Luigi. Sure a lot of people on forums etc love Luigi and he's getting more attention. His qwerky character also adds a nice extra level of fun to games he's in but come on - Mario is the big cheese. It's his Party, his Karts, his Galaxy.

Mario has personality, as anyone who has played the Mario & Luigi games will know. Even in games like Galaxy his happy go lucky animation and sounds give him character - which is more than what can be said for other Nintendo characters like Link.
