I think the wigler was kind of better, with the burning rose, and it seems fine, besides, why so much shading, it's a plataform sprite, and it should not be so shady

Yeah, that Mario is better.

Only crit is make the background pop out less, to further emphasize the foreground objects.

Make the background darker/paler compared to the sprites you have thier.

Awesome job! But I don't like the ground tiles, because of the weird design, make it NSMB or something. The rest is beautiful!

Small edits are okay. No big ones.
I will not change the design of the ground tiles. I based it off of NSMB, but I wanted a bit originality.

It Most of the dark blue shading will be covered up by the arm that will be going on the body.
