Hello everyone! I was thinking of a way to encourage more people to submit to this site, and I thought of an easy, themed project.

The theme is "3D Naruto DS Games!" All you need for these is a program called Tinke! http://www.mediafire.com/?jfiunyqascka9ar

There are only three released so far so it should be pretty simple to finish them off!

Side note: The Japanese name for this series is "Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden.

For those who are a complete beginner, here's a handy little tutorial made by Redblueyellow!

Tutorial

If you are hoping to rip the textures of a game, the main tool you will need is Tinke. Just open up a rom, look for the texture or model icon and open the files. Once you see the textures, export. You’re done!
I’ll show you an example for good measure.

Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble!:


Textures are stored in either texture or model files. In this case, the models contain both the textures and the models, so in order to see the textures, we click the “Show textures” button, located in the bottom right corner.


Now just click the “Save texture” button, and you have the textures for Viewtiful Joe.

Also, so this can be a valid project, I'll go ahead and post a rip!

Anyone is free to help out! If you would like to rip a texture, please claim it before hand so we can all avoid ripping the same thing.

great idea, but since idk much about Naruto idk how much I could help.
(also make sure to state in the OP that people have to post and "claim" things so that there isn't overlap)
also make sure to take a moment to say where a texture goes when you post it (whether it's a character, enemy, misc., etc.), it helps us (me) out.
