Ripping voices and bgm from .awb files
#1
Over the past few days I've been trying to extract audio files from Super Dangan Ronpa 2: Sayonara Zetsubou Gakuen for the PSP, only to run into a weird extension file called .awb. So far I've had no luck in extracting anything from BGM.awb or VOICE.awb, which presumably contain the game's bgm and voice clips. If anyone has ideas how to convert the .awb files or at least open them, it would be an enormous help.

The .awbs are actually an archive full of .wav files, but they don't seem to play in anything (I think this is codec-related rather than the files being corrupted).

There's a chance they're no real .wav files but another format or that the files within the archive are compressed and would need to be decompressed and not only extracted.

.awb? I remember when I messed around with these in Poképark 2: Wonders Beyond, and I managed to rip them by using PSound by complete accident.
