Kirby: Squeak Squad Ability Ripping Project

Just thought I'd post this.

Some are going to require more work than other.
- Beam
- Bomb
- Bubble - Me
- Fire
- Hammer
- Hi-Jump
- Ice - Me
- Laser
- Parasol
- Sleep
- Spark
- Sword - Me
- Tornado
- Meta Knight

How to rip them. (I stink at explaining things)
- Open the game in Tinke
- Open the Kirby section
- Pick a power and open the [BCLA] as a palette
- Set the Start Byte to 12 for kirby's palette then 44 for the hat's palette
Do Kirby's palette first
- Open the [BCGA] as a tile
- Set Offset to 20
- Set BPP to 4bpp
- Set the Image Pattern to Horizontal
- Play with the width until the images line up correction
(Start with 32 as is the most common)
- Make the height large enough to view all of the sprites.

That's about it. Do the same thing with the hat palette to get the hat and assemble.

is there any sort of indication of how the hats are put on Kirby's head? are most of them the same or are all different?

Some hats are similar like Sword and Bomb, but they have differences.

It's easy to figure out how the hat's go on the head.
As far as I know they all have some indication.

Pretty good, but I think you forgot his blinking poses for each of the idles and crouches. Oh and it's Cupid Kirby, not Angel.

There weren't any except for the regular idle. I'm sure people could just edit him blinking if they needed it.
He was listed as angel kirby in the files so I thought I'd keep it.

I'm wondering whether or not to claim Beam Kirby to try... I'm already working on another thing and I keep putting off other things for new things that I keep finding... it's a vicious cycle with me. Tongue
