Timesplitters 2 pak extractor
#1
I would like a pak extractor that can extract anything like models, sounds, textures and all that because I've been hastling with the pak decrypt and it can't extract with zip using winrar or something like that. I'm trying to extract and convert the files from the game "Timesplitters 2" that was made by eidos and free radical. Could someone make a tool that will legitimately extract files from the pak and mss files. The mss file extension is for music and pak is for data such as sounds, textures, characters and stages. We would like some tools that will help get them out of the files. Also, I got them from the gamecube version of Timesplitters 2.

I don't know, if the pak-format is different on each console, but there is a script for the ps2-version, that extracts stuff: Link

Someone on the Xentax-forums posted two scripts for the xbox-version: An extractor script for the pak-archives and an importer for the 3d-viewer "Noesis". Unfortunately, the last one can only be downloaded, if you register and you have to make a donation in order to get registered: Link

Someone else on the Facepunch-forums managed to extract all the character-models and converted them to "Garry's Mod":Link

I'd love some Timesplitters stuff on the site. What a great series.
